She's coming in prophetic light

Tomorrow night I will be going to our nearest book shop (which I used to frequent almost weekly when at school - you could order a book and it would arrive there the very next working day) and buying the Harry Potter book. I haven't been to any of these midnight opening thingumies for anything before so it should be fun. Apparently a few of the folks from the theatre go there in costume. Of course the book won't be like this, but from the current B3ta image challenge (other entries contain some highly questionable content. Funny but questionable) comes this re-imagining:

Tomorrow people are coming to do things involving concrete and patio slabs in the back garden so recording with microphones likely won't be happening unless I'm specifically trying to record the people working in the garden. They'd probably charge more for that anyway.

Was amused at the news story from Basra about the man-eating badgers. As if they haven't got enough problems in Basra already, rumours are spreading that British soldiers had introduced man-eating badgers into the area who attack people at night time. Rumours say they are as about the size of a dog but with a head like a monkey, and move like deer. This caused the rather hilarious press release from the UK military saying ""We can categorically state that we have not released man-eating badgers into the area."
